One of the most prominent Corporate Social Responsibility Programs of St. Peter Chapels is to provide a much deserved memorialization to honor the lives of accomplished leaders of organizations who made significant contributions to Philippine society. The St. Peter Chapels Memorial Service Gift Certificate Program was established to award Filipinos who lived their lives distinctly for other in respective fields.
This was conceptualized as most organizations often overlooked the responsibility of pre-arranging memorial services for its leaders at times of need. This is because preparing for death is always a sensitive topic and at the same time entails much expense to the organization. As a result, bereaved families of notable leaders were burdened with loss and unexpected expense of a memorial service.
The St. Peter Chapels Memorial Gift Certificate provides free memorial services at St. Peter Chapels which includes obtaining the remains within twenty-five kilometers from any St. Peter Chapels, a metal casket, embalming services, viewing in a St. Peter Chapels for four days, assistance in processing of required certifications and permits and use of funeral car during interment within twenty-five kilometers.
Our Assistant Vice-President for Human Resource and Organizational Development Jude O.L. Tiongco, in coordination with the Chapels Operations Department, visited various organizations to present this program as our sincerest way of fulfilling our organization's social responsibility to our country. With the assistance of Human Resource Manager Beth V. Malacaman, hundreds of Memorial Service Gift Certificates were awarded to the past presidents of business organizations such as the Rotary Club of Makati, People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP), Makati Business Club (MBC), Mettalurgical Society of the Philippines, Rotary District Governors and a majority of Clergy and Priests nationwide.
Truly, we make sure that we give honor and tribute to those who lived their lives significantly for others.
