Qualified St. Peter Chapels employees from all over the Philippines began their review and training under the Embalmer’s Licensure Program (ELP) last January 8, 2019. The trainings were held at St. Peter Corporate Center Multipurpose Hall for Luzon Participants and Castle Peak Hotel, Cebu City for the Visayas and Mindanao Groups.

The participants all underwent 3 months of extensive learning sessions focused on the basics of Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Parasitology, Standards of Embalming, Governing Laws on Embalming, and Embalming Skills and Techniques which sessions were facilitated by F and M Embalmers Review and Training Center, Inc. (FAME).

There are 32 participants who will soon take the theoretical and practical examinations conducted by the Department of Health (DOH) and if they pass, they will become Certified Licensed Embalmers.
